We only accept payment in cash on arrival. Sorry, no credit cards. Card details are taken to secure your bookings.

If you haven't arrived before 7pm on your intended arrival date or haven't informed us of your late arrival your credit card will be charged with the full amount for the booking.

The Supermarket within Owaka operates an ATM machine during opening hours of 8am till 7pm. BNZ, WestPac, TSB and Kiwi Bank are all accepted cards. The nearest ATM machine is in Balclutha(32km drive)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation made more than 48 hours prior to arrival date will not be charged

Cancellation made within 48 hours prior to arrival date or non-arrival will be chaged to full amount of the booking.

Credit Cards

Call us on 03 454 5635 with your Visa or Mastercard details to secure your booking. We will charge your card only if you do not arrive or haven't cancelled your booking within 48 hours before your intended arrival date.

Bank transfer

Full payment must be transferred 7 days before intended arrival

Cheque

Payment to be made out to S Carruth Catlins Backpackers. Cheques have to be received by 7 days prior to your arrival
